Xiaomi showcases the camera of its new high-end smartphones at the MWC 

The main attraction of the Xiaomi 14 is its camera, thanks to the partnership the company has with the lens manufacturer Leica. The devices run on the company’s new operating system, HyperOS

At the Mobile World Congress, the standout smartphone is the Xiaomi 14. The Chinese manufacturer has launched these devices in China a few days ago and now, they were presented internationally. The company’s high-end smartphones have a camera developed in collaboration with German optics specialist, Leica. The company’s strategy revolves around its new operating system, HyperOS. Xiaomi’s goal is for all of its nearly 700 million active loT devices to function with HyperOS, which is designed to facilitate interdevice connection. The strategy focuses on people, cars, and homes. The presentation showcased the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which features four 50- megapixel sensors at the rear, developed in collaboration with Leica. The camera can record video in 8K or in 4K at 120 fps. The lower-end model has a triple camera, also with 50-megapixel Leica lenses. Both devices feature the new Xiaomi AISP technology, aimed at improving photos with artificial intelligence. The Xiaomi 14 models are equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, WiFi 7 and 5G connectivity, and run on the new Xiaomi HyperOS, which replaces the company’s previous operating system, MIUI. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a 6.73-inch AMOLED screen, while the base version has a 6.36-inch AMOLED screen. The Xiaomi 14 starts at 999 euros, with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, while the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is priced at 1,499 euros for the 16GB of RAM and 512 GB version. In addition to the smartphones, Xiaomi also introduced a tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 6s Pro 12.4, and a range of wearable devices, including the Smart Band 8 Pro and two smartwatches, the Watch S3 and Watch 2
