Google replaces Bard with Gemini and incorporates the new artificial intelligence application to mobile

The new model aims to become the search engine and reference assistant on all devices to get ahead of the next ChatGPT

Google has announced that its artificial intelligence model, Bard, will be transformed into Gemini, a system that aspires to be a more complete and useful artificial intelligence assistant. The new app will answer written and oral questions, interact with images and become the phone’s primary assistant. Gemini will be available on the web and in mobile apps with Android and iOS systems, initially in English, with plans to expand into Asian languages and then into Spanish. The advanced version of Gemini, available by subscription, will be able to reason, follow instructions, code and collaborate creatively, and will include technical support, professional image editing, recommendations and early access to test features. A more enterprise version, Duet Al, will become Gemini for Google Workspace and Google Cloud. Bard’s transformation to Gemini comes in response to OpenAl’s competition and its artificial intelligence model, ChatGPT.
