Berna González Harbour will talk with authors about her work and the readings that accompany them

EL PAÍS Audio and Babelia are launching Qué estás leyendo, a biweekly podcast aimed at connecting with readers seeking quality book recommendations. Journalist and author Berna González Harbour will host discussions with authors about their new books and their reading habits. The first guests will be Leila Guerriero and Sergio Ramírez. Guerriero will discuss her new book, La llamada, which explores the difficulties of portraying a victim of the Argentine dictatorship who survived torture, kidnapping, sexual slavery, and later faced rejection from her former comrades. Nicaraguan author Ramírez will speak about narratives from exile and the challenges of being separated from his library in Managua. Each episode will include reading recommendations from the guest author and Babelia. The podcast adds to EL PAÍS Audio’s existing content, which includes a daily news show and several documentary series.
