The actor stars in the staging of Chekhov at the Naves del Español and receives this Monday the award for his entire career at the Malaga Festival

At 57, Javier Cámara is one of the most in-demand actors in Spain. He is currently taking the stage to portray one of the most powerful characters in universal theatre history – Uncle Vanya, in the play of the same name by Russian playwright Anton Chekhov. The play, written and directed by Pablo Remón, premiered at the Naves del Español in Matadero, Madrid. The production, titled Vania x Vania, is a brilliant theatrical experience that presents Chekhov’s work in two different versions performed sequentially. Cámara, an award-winning actor throughout his career, is set to receive the Málaga-Sur Award at the Málaga Film Festival on Monday, honoring his entire career
